Aston Villa have the highest PVA , finishing 2 places above expect in top spot. Despite a slightly better VA of +4 , Udinese come second, with +6 VA team Lille in 3rd.
Brugge and Twente both have +8 VA and Twente were so unlucky not to get in the playoffs. Also a great performance by Lokomotive on +7 VA.
Boca had a terrible year 9 places lower then expected the worse VA and PVA, with Dynamo Kiev not far behind. Underperformance cost Sau Paulo, Stuttgart and Lyon dear as they slipped down a division. So well done Athletic club, Lokomotive and Malaga for avoiding the drop as would have occured in the 3 higher divisions.
