Those of you who are unhappy with the draw, or the way it was carried out, or with the format of the competition, you will be pleased (or not) to know that we propose to hold a redraw later in the season.

WORLD CLUB CUP - SEASON 14
No special rules apply to the World Club Cup, so all players are eligible to play and are shown as 100 % fit. The match in SM is regarded as a friendly fixture.
Fixtures to be played every Wednesday starting Wednesday 9th December.
Rounds 1, 2, 3 and Semi Final will be one leg only.
Divisional Finals will be over two legs.
Games finished in a tie will be decided by fictional extra time, information for this can be found at the bottom of the post.
Admins for each division will check that fixtures are arranged and chase managers via PM and/or newsfeed where necessary.
Fictional Extra Time
In the knockout stage, if the scores are level at full-time (and over two legs, if the scores are level taking into account away goals advantage), Fictional Extra Time comes into play:
- One goal scored for the team with most possession.
- One goal scored for the team with the most shots on target.
- One goal scored for the team who scored first in normal time.
If scores are still level, team with most possession + shots on target gets one extra goal (see original FET rule: https://smtop100.blog/youth-cup-format-rules/youth-cup-knock-out/)
World Club Cup & Shield Finals
WCC Final
Dan Wallace's much improved D2 side came out on top in a two-legged affair with D1 PSG in what could hardly have been a tighter couple of games.
1st leg
PSG manager Malcolm must have thought he had come away with a great result with a 0-0 draw in Berlin, but the lack of an away goal proved costly in the end.
2nd leg
And it was Hertha who duly scored that crucial away goal, Mario Mandzukic equalising Julian Weigl's opener with just under an hour played.
Man of the Match Marco Reus provided the match-winning performance and assist.
A fantastic win for Hertha, who wrote their name into the record books by becoming the first non-D1 team to win the World Club Cup (although the new tournament format helped with that somewhat).
Hertha rounded off the season with a stunning playoff victory in the league to secure D1 football for the first time in the club's history to cap a magnificent campaign.
PSG manager Malcolm finished in a club record third place in D1, before switching to a new challenge with World Club Shield finalists D5 Augsburg for next season.
WCS Final
D5 Augsburg contested the Shield Final in the absence of a winner from the D4 Divisional tournament.
1st leg
Attack heavy Augsburg dominated the 1st leg in Bavaria with three first half goals.
They ran out of steam, though, and conceded what proved to be a fatal late second goal to give Gladbach two precious away goals.
2nd leg
Incredibly, Augsburg boss Johns quit the club prior to the second leg declaring in a statement issued by the club that:
When I joined the club I was excited to develop the strong youth setup that previous manager Ivan Anic had built, and also to bring in some quality and experience to take us up the table. Unfortunately, I didn't read the small print in the contract which said that I had to wear the manager's special lederhosen that turned out to be a couple of sizes too small for me. They created all kinds of problems for me. I hope to be back in six months....
Under caretaker manager Steve Coppell, Augsburg's players looked completely demoralised and outplayed, and a 1-0 defeat flattered them.
Another away goals victory, and another World Club winner who went on to win their playoff final in the league, securing D2 football next season.
Manager Attila Olah has since joined Internacional in D1, while former Swansea, PSV, Fiorentina and CSKA Moscow boss Lee Adams takes the reigns at Gladbach.

Paris Saint-Germain emerged victorious following a 2-2 draw in the second leg in Brussels last night. Anderlecht's inability to score away in Paris in the first leg ended up costing them dearly.
PSG will now play the winners of the D2 tournament to decide the overall World Club Cup winner.

Hertha Berlin needed Fictional Extra Time to see off Leverkusen after their 2-0 home first leg was overturned buy their German rivals.
Hertha will host D1 tournament winners Paris Saint-Germain next week in the first leg of the World Club Cup Final.

Gladbach held on 1-1 at home against Udinese to win the D3 final, their 2-1 victory in Italy in the first leg enough to separate the two sides.

Not sure what happened in D4, as neither leg of the final was played!
The plan was for the winners of D3 and D4 to playoff for the World Club Shield, but I think now that it will have to be D3 vs. D5, while Partizan and Dynamo can arrange their D4 final games for the next two weeks instead.

Zagreb's 5-1 capitulation at home to Augsburg in the fist leg meant that the second leg in Germany was always going to be somewhat of a formality.
And so it proved with the German team emerging 7-3 victors on aggregate, and securing an unlikely place in the World Club Shield Final against Borussia Monchengladbach in the process.

The semi-final 2nd legs last night produced some cracking games and scores, and decided who will face off in the two legged finals for each division (scheduled for the next two weeks, 6 and 13 May).

Benfica's failure to score an away goal in the first leg 2-0 defeat cost them dear, as PSG held on in Lisbon to secure a 2-1 aggregate win.
They will play Anderlecht, who saw off Chelsea with a 2-1 win in Brussels.

In a thrilling game in Monaco, the hosts failed to capitalise on their 1-1 1st leg result in Berlin, as Hertha won the return leg 2- to reach the final.
There they will face German rivals Leverkusen, who hung on to their 1-0 1st leg lead over Napoli with a 1-1 home draw.

Udinese had a relatively simple passage through to the final with a 2-1 win at Koln to go through 4-1 on aggregate.
Gladbach also reached the D3 final, a 1-1 home draw with Lazio enough to see them through after winning 3-1 in Rome in the first leg.

Boca's 1st leg win in Belgrade was for nought as they failed to turn up for the second leg, forfeiting the match 3-0 to send Partizan to the final, 3-1 on aggregate.
Dynamo secured their place in the final with a 1-1 draw in Kazan, to beat their Russian rivals Rubin 3-2 over the two legs.
