This season’s shortlist contains a mixture of champions, cup winners, promotion heroes and managers who defied expectations to achieve far more than the numbers suggested they should.
Overall Manager of the Season
The headline award features six managers with strong claims to have produced the outstanding achievement of Season 27.
James Mckenzie (Chelsea) claimed his sixth Division 1 title and first since Season 21, moving to within two championships of brother Scott’s all-time record of eight.
Ash L (Leicester City) followed last season’s best-ever second-place finish under Doug Earle by guiding Leicester to third place in Division 1 while completing an impressive SMFA Cup and World Club Cup double.
Glen Mullan (Espanyol) produced one of the stories of the season. Predicted by many to struggle, Espanyol secured promotion from Division 2 while also winning a second successive Youth Cup.
Chris Meida (CSKA Moskva) completed another remarkable chapter in his club’s rise, keeping CSKA in Division 1 after achieving back-to-back promotions.
Alessandro Ioli (Ajax) won Division 4 and finished top of the Positional Value Added (PVA) rankings.
Marc Ques (Rubin Kazan) achieved something rarely seen in Top 100 history, securing a third successive promotion.
Division 1
James Mckenzie (Chelsea) – Champions once again and winners of a sixth Division 1 title.
Chris Meida (CSKA Moskva) – Survival against the odds following two successive promotions.
Ash L (Leicester City) – SMFA Cup and World Club Cup winner while maintaining Leicester’s place among the elite.

LIBRAS-BOAS CLAIMS TREBLE CROWN AS TOP 100 HONOURS OUTSTANDING SEASON 25 ACHIEVERS
Luis André leads dominant display in Manager of Season awards as David Marsden’s transformation earns recognition
The votes have been counted and the verdicts are in from Season 25’s Manager of the Season awards, with Luis André Libras-Boas of Hellas Verona claiming the Overall Manager crown in emphatic fashion after delivering the campaign’s only treble triumph.
OVERALL SUPREMACY
Libras-Boas swept to victory in the Overall category with a commanding 59% of the vote (36 from 61 cast), his treble haul of Division 1, SMFA Champions Cup, and Charity Shield proving decisive in what many considered the most competitive season in Top 100 history. The Portuguese tactician’s achievement in successfully defending his Division 1 crown whilst conquering Europe made him the standout candidate.
David Marsden of Hamburger SV claimed a respectable second place with 23% (14 votes), his extraordinary transformation from 17th-placed predictions to Division 2 champions earning widespread admiration. The Englishman’s +16 VA improvement represented the highest value addition across all divisions.
Adam of Barcelona (8.2%) rounded out the podium, his multi-generational mastery evident in capturing both World Club Cup and Youth Cup honours, whilst Scott Mckenzie (6.6%) and simon thomas (3.3%) completed the quintet of nominees.
DIVISIONAL DOMINANCE
The divisional categories showcased the depth of managerial excellence across the Top 100 pyramid:
Division 1
André Libras-Boas collected another emphatic victory with 64.5% of votes (40 from 62), underlining his complete dominance of the top flight. Scott Mckenzie’s remarkable statistical transformation from 15th prediction to 4th place finish earned him 17.7% recognition, ahead of Adam (9.7%) and Bojan H (8.1%).
Division 2
Delivered the most one-sided result of the night, with David Marsden claiming an extraordinary 96.8% of the vote (61 from 63). His championship triumph from such lowly expectations represented arguably the season’s greatest individual achievement, leaving Dave Oz Osborne’s play-off heroics with Málaga trailing with just 3.2%.
Division 3
Proved similarly decisive for Chris Meida of CSKA Moskva, who secured 81% of votes after combining league success with Youth Shield glory. Jamie ᚺ’s tactical excellence with FC Augsburg earned 15.9%, whilst Mike Scallotti’s remarkable underdog promotion story with Everton collected 3.2%.
Division 4
Provided the evening’s most competitive contest, with Stuart Monteith of Montpellier HSC edging victory with 46% following his automatic promotion charge from 14th predictions. Chris Union’s title triumph with Boca Juniors earned 22.2%, ahead of Fredrik Johansson (19%) and the statistically exceptional ruts66 (12.7%).
Division 5
Marc Ques of FK Partizan claimed 47.6% recognition for his clear championship victory, narrowly ahead of Bruno Neto^^'s exceptional statistical display with Olympique Lyonnais (31.7%). Wayne Bullough’s individual overperformance with Athletic Club rounded out the leading trio with 17.5%.
CUP COMPETITION EXCELLENCE
The Cup Competition Excellence category delivered a thrilling three-way battle, with Adam’s multi-competition mastery ultimately prevailing with 55.6% of votes. His World Club Cup and Youth Cup double demonstrated exceptional squad depth and tactical versatility across multiple age groups.
André Libras-Boas and simon thomas deadlocked on 22.2% apiece, the former’s SMFA Champions Cup triumph complementing his league success, whilst the latter’s Top 100 Cup victory from 20th predictions to 12th finish exemplified the great escape narrative that defined much of Season 25.
STATISTICAL STANDOUTS
The voting data revealed fascinating insights into the community’s priorities:
- Transformation narratives proved particularly popular, with managers exceeding predictions by significant margins earning substantial recognition
- Value addition statistics heavily influenced voting patterns
- Trophy collection remained the ultimate arbiter of excellence
- 438 votes cast across seven categories demonstrated continued Top 100 community engagement
FINAL THOUGHTS
Season 25 will be remembered as the campaign where defensive champions thrived alongside transformative underdogs. Libras-Boas’s treble represents the pinnacle of sustained excellence, whilst Marsden’s Division 2 heroics epitomise the unpredictable beauty that makes the Top 100 game world so compelling.
As attention turns to Season 26, these award winners have set the benchmark for what constitutes managerial excellence in the modern era. The voting has spoken, and the message is clear: consistency, transformation, and silverware remain the holy trinity of Top 100 success.

D2 Manager of the Season
After some success with Roma and a stable side it was a little risky to drop a Division but I really felt with a few tweaks I could get them back in the Top Level.
Key signings in the keeper and centre back also adding Werner in the latter stages. I like to try have cover for all positions, I am lacking in CM and CB but I concentrated on the league rather than cups and at one point I thought I may make the 100 points.
We twice broke most win on the run and record and most unbeaten games, it’s a really tough league and you could get stuck in there and after two season Arsenal looked like they were lacking consistency.
I tried to get a settled squad early doors and stuck to the game plan. Really pleased to go up as champions against some really top managers in the Division and looking forward to being back in the top flight.

Since I’ve joined this league I’ve strived to be the best manager in here and from the start it was a struggle to be champions even though at some points over the years we have on paper had a very strong squad but for some reason it just never clicked.......
But this season we have managed to turn draws into wins, a few in the last 10 mins ....and it has helped having a little bit of Back up To Fill in for those Unexpected injuries ......

But overall I want to thank all the guys in here for the competition, it’s a hard group of guys who are trying to break the cycle up top in div 1 but it takes a lot of sacrifice of top talents to get that winning formula.....
I also want to thank the guys for their effort in running cups and managing everything about the world which is the fairest I’ve ever come across and rules are always adhered to and there’s no qualms if mistakes are made people accept their punishment....
I know Scott Will be desperate to get his crown back and I will learn from his mistake this term of the super cup as he lost his first two league games through playing a full team.....
Let’s see if we can do it again I’ve every confidence we won’t be far away .......I’m glad overall we won the league by a margin now it’s up to the guys in div 1 to hunt me down coz I won’t be relinquishing the title easy .......

As a lifelong fan of Everton it has been a honour for me to manage them in T100. I still have fond memories of my first ever job in T100 at Galatasaray and am happy with the job I did there, but as soon as the vacancy became available at Goodison Park it was impossible for me to ignore. I'd like to thank firstly the 'selection panel' who approved my application 2 seasons ago and gave me the chance to take over at Finch Farm. I'd like to mention the previous manager Mr. Inglis for all the work he did at Everton and I feel he certainly left the squad in very good shape. My first season was painful as a fan, and as a manager. We got off to a very poor start in Division 2 and no matter what I tried we just could not recover and were relegated on the final day of the season. As we didn't finish bottom 3, I escaped the mandatory sacking and explained my vision to the selection panel, who agreed I could be given another season to turn this great club around. This season has been nothing short of amazing. Top of Division 3 for the majority of the season, being confirmed as Champions and then probably even more rewarding is to hear that I'd been voted Manager of the Season for the division by my fellow T100 managers. I really did go back to the drawing board after relegation, tried different formations and tactics until I could find something that worked for us. After a good pre-season thankfully it clicked and we have enjoyed a superb season with Adrien Rabiot recording outstanding ratings/assists/goals which was equally pleasing as I brought him to the club. Already looking forward to next season back in the 2nd tier, although I understand what a tough challenge it will be. COYB - Once a blue, always a blue!

It's a great honour to receive this award from my fellow managers. Thank you all. It was a tough season with many great contenders. Thought Nuno Bento would win it. What?! He ain't in D2? He's still kidnapping kids in D4 competing with Ricardo "SuperWings" Ferreira? Oh sorry! Anyway, it was a memorable season. We played fantastic football! Many thanks to my players & staff! This award is the recognition of their commitment & hard work. I'm lucky to be surrounded by these amazing people. And our tifosi. Week in week out, crowding our Bentegodi with their crazy passion that push us to glory! Hope we can take this wave to next season & return all their efforts. Proud to be a gialloblù!

It's an absolute honour to receive this award, the fact that my fellow managers have voted for me when there has been great achievements by others is testament to the work we have done and are carrying out at Barcelona. Looking back on our League campaign it was neck and neck for most of the season until the last quarter where we seem to be able to keep up the consistency where others fail. We were able to add the Charity Shield this year and also the SMFA Champions Cup so the players have got to take the credit. We have a style and formation we stick to and the players take the credit as they go out and deliver on the pitch. We added Saido Mane to the squad and he has taken a bit of time to settle into the squad so look out for him next season as I think he will become a vital cog in the formidable front 3 we have. Thanks to all who make Top 100 enjoyable and stay safe.

Following voting for the Manager of the Season nominations, here are the winners:
Manager of the Season Awards S11
Based on nominations on the Top 100 game world newsfeed, Malcolm's divisional 'PVA winners' (basically, who finished higher than they should have done with the team they had at the start of the season?), and achievements in the game world this season (i.e., titles, promotions, cup wins).
There are SIX polls - one for each division, and one overall vote. You can vote for any one of the nominees, or vote for someone else.
Please only vote once in each category - I've set it up so that it should not easily be possible to vote more than once. Anyone found cheating will face a one month transfer ban.

D1 Manager of the Season
Scott Mckenzie won his 7th D1 title in 11 seasons, obliterating the opposition in the process. This title also marks the first time any side has won the D1 title three seasons in succession.
Mister TRX followed up last season's promotion with a top 4 finish, PSG's highest ever placing. They also won the Top 100 World Club Cup, beating Chelsea in th final.
Doug Earle also achieved his club's highest ever league placing taking Atletico Madrid to fifth, and also recording the best 'PVA' in D1.
D2 Manager of the Season
Roberto Downinho won his second D2 title with Internacional beating his own personal biggest points total in the process.
Paul Thompson won the playoff final to secure his second consecutive promotion (with two different clubs) to return Valencia to D1 for the first time since S6. He also amassed the Bats' highest ever points tally. All while winning the Top 100 Shield, too!
David Marsden took Hamburger to unprecedented heights with a dramatic final day win to clinch the third automatic promotion place, achieving the division's best 'PVA' in doing so.
D3 Manager of the Season
Dario Saviano maintained his record of improving Levante's league position every season under his stewardship by smashing D3 with a club record 73 points to reach D2 for the first time.
Gav Harmer also totalled his club's highest ever number of points in a season as Chievo reach D2 for the first time. Gav also recorded the division's highest 'PVA'.
Jerod Ramnarine sneaked into the third and final automatic promotion place on the last day of the season to record Gala's highest ever league placing and points total.
D4 Manager of the Season
Nick Justice won the D4 title and returned the Villains to D3 for the first time since S6, and recorded the division's best 'PVA'.
Ignazio Barraco led Udinese to a second consecutive promotion that sees Udinese return to D3 for the first time since S4.
Adam at Lille won automatic promotion on the final day, returning Lille to D3 for the first time since S2.
D5 Manager of the Season
Joao Alves won D5 and recorded the division's best 'PVA' to revive Sporting after three consecutive relegation seasons.
Nuno Bento launched an incredible late season run of form that transformed the youngest and lowest rated squad in the whole of Top 100 from bottom-dwellers to playoff winners. The Baggies secured their highest ever league placing and number of points. Nuno, in his own words, 'created West Brom from nothing' - he sold all 48 players he started with to external clubs, so it really is a truly amazing - nay, unbelievable! - that he and his own genius has overseen such a turnaround while the rest of us have been sleeping.
Greg Owen was the only manager this season to have a plan, and it was a cunning plan at that. Greg's plan from day one was to amass enough points to win promotion - and that's exactly what he did (even if he managed fewer points than he thought he needed)! As the saying goes, fail to plan, and plan to fail! Greg also did amazingly well to reach the final of the Top 100 Youth Cup.
Overall Manager of the Season
In addition to the managers nominated for the divisional awards, Andre Libras-Boas won the Top 100 Cup, beating serial cup winners Juventus in the final. The Cup win provided massive consolation for finishing bottom of the league in their only season in D1.
Frank Hirst won the highly coveted and exclusive to Top 100 Youth Cup, while finishing a highly respectable 10th in D1.
Gursimran Brar won the slightly less coveted but even more exclusive to Top 100 World Club Cup Shield AND Youth Shield. And he signed Sadio Mane, so he must be doing something right!
