Manutd are looking forward to another tough season in division 2. Last season we were predicted to finish 17 and go down but we finished 15th and quite comfortably away from the relegation zone. Signalling a successful season. Since I’ve came here my plan has been to keep a first team that can compete enough in division 2 but also to bring in players to give us a future aswell. Its been an extremely difficult pre season transfer window as usual in top 100 but we have managed to get some deals done.
Yann Sommer : Our biggest signing is Yann Sommer 91 rated. Despite being 37 he’s still a top class goalkeeper. Last season one of our weak points was the goalkeeper as we had an 88 rated in goal. Now with Sommer we should have a strong defence. As he has Mendy lb 89, Gabbia cb 89, Bisseck cb 90, Spinazzola rb 89, in front of him. The future is bright as we have young Barcelona highly rated goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili. That we hope will replace Sommer in a few seasons.
Ibrahim Sangare 89: Ibrahim brings more depth to our midfield and options of a good level. He is a proper Cdm and can also support the defence that already looks pretty strong. At 28 aswell he’s not old and has many years ahead of him.

Matheus Alves 83: 21 year old Alves can play in cm or cam. In real life he went from Brasil to Russia in January last season. He has settled in very nicely in Russia playing regularly and has scored a few goals and made a few aswell. He will be a key player for us in the youth cup.
Gorka Carrera 82: 21 year old striker Carrera scored 15 goals last season for Real Sociadad B. He has been a goal machine at youth level. We were lacking youth in the forward department and we needed something for the future. He will be a key player for us in the youth cup.
Ben Nelson 78: 22 year old cb Nelson broke into Leicester City’s first team last season. Even though Leicester got relegated he stood out and has been linked with moves to Torino and Manutd. And others. We’re not sure how this will go its a bit of a wild card move and we will see if it works out or not.
Ultimately at the moment we are a side trying to stay in division 2. At the same time we’re are trying to bring younger talent to the club so we can compete longer term and hopefully one day be back in division 1. That’s the aim even if it takes a while to get there.
