The format for the S19 Youth Cup can now be confirmed.

Due to incredible levels of interest we can confirm exclusively that the competition will move from 48 teams to 56!

There will be 14 groups of 4 teams. Each team playing 6 matches as usual.

The movement into the next stages though will change slightly. See below – it makes sense to me which is most important. 🙂

• if I get 4 more teams I will create a 15th group – but they need to apply via blog!

So the teams and the draw – the draw will hopefully be done some time this week – perhaps tomorrow. The pots are not definite yet and will be confirmed officially over next 24 hours.

What I would like to see is this Wednesday and next Saturday that everyone organizes some youth friendlies against similarly rated opponents.
