Udinese who were possible relegation material at the start of the season get into the playoffs on +9 VA , Villa 2nd in the PVA stats finish 4th also play off bound. Lille make up the trio of play offf over performers this year with Brugge just missing out in the end.
Relegation went to form in this division also, the 2nd division where all 4 predicted relegated teams were. The biggest underpeformance has to be CSKA who had -10 Va and -0.6 PVA, just above the playoff underpeformers Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Newcastle and Man Utd should have been playoff teams but slipped down in the end with -6 and -4 VA.
