Whats happening with soccer manager (wish it was named Football Manger) I cant get on my phone or laptop its just timing out, its been slow all week but today I cannot get on.

what they have done is port copies of the standard webpage to cloudflare. You effectively get an offline version from there of the standard templates and only data is now ported direct from sm own site . So now we are reliant on 2 servers being up and talking to each other. This obviously slows things down for us but puts less strain on their server and makes everything less relaible.

In theory, Cloudflare should speed performance to end users; in practice it doesn't always work that way. I've had several Cloudflare errors showing this week – which implies that the SM servers themselves are not responding fast enough to Cloudflare's CDN (distributed network which end users actually access) with the necessary data for pages to be displayed.Overall, the whole thing seems to have been poorly handled and is a real backward step – performance this week in all aspects has been shite.
