hi guys not done a post in a while due to a personal family problem which has taken some of my time up but things are slowly sorting themselves out and hopefully ill get more time on top 100. anyway thats enough about boring me.
what a season it has been so far at besiktas for the fans and there manager prince of persia gave us a insight to the season so far
"its been a up and down roller coaster for us this season so far and arguably the shock defeat to Monaco has been the hardest result to take this season inwhat should of been 3 points given the sides difference this season.. my realistic target set for this season was to improve on last season finish of 11th under the previous regime.with so many transfers it could have gone so wrong for me as the coach this season but the lads have been brilliant and worked hard for the fans.
my aim is now to secure a play off place and of course finish above the rivals across the road.with the way we have played this season i feel anything other than a play off place will be classed as a failure and potentially at risk of being sacked by the board.
we have had a pretty settled side this season so far but injuries and suspensions are now taking its toll on the side and with a real possibility this could cost us a place in the play offs i've now started scouting in the hope of getting a striker in on a short term basis".
the price of persia even had a opinion on his rivals at galatasary.
"i guess the going got tough there and being below us was not easy and kun al lost is battle to keep is job.now with walter at the helm i guess it creates a rivaly again but from our point of view at besiktas i guess we have nothing to worry about as there not really important and we have more competition in training than anything galatasaray could throw at us.

Noisy speaks out at Leverkusen.
As the business end of the season fast approaches Leverkusen manager Mr.Noisy is knee
deep in the shit. Results have not gone the way of the German club and the board are furious that
Noisy has them in this mess for the second consecutive season running. Just 4 wins in Division 1 this year has seen Leverkusen fall 8 points adrift from safety with just 11 games left to play...
However Last nights surprising 1-0 win in England at the Emirates over Arsenal has given the boss the belief that it may not be over just yet. 8 points in 11 games is a lot to make up but we are feeling confident the boys can pull together and fight like they've never fought before.
Leverkusen have some tough fixtures left to play but most importantly we have to play all 3 clubs that are around us in the final 4 matches of the season so it could prove to be a almighty season ending.
Onto a more positive note Noisy's love affair with the U21 Youth Cup continues as Leverkusen make the Semi Final stage of the competition. It's the first time they have reached the stage haven fallen at the Quarter Final last year but it is Noisy's Second appearance as he guided Fenerbahce to the Semis in season 1 before departing for Leverkusen.

The U21 Semi Final draw is due to take place this week with Anderlecht,Valencia and Real Madrid all still in the competition. It remains to be seen who we get but whoever we get will fear playing Leverkusen U21s and Noisy has history with Real Madrid having knocked them out in Season 1 with Fenerbahce and Leverkusen topped Real Madrid's group in Season 2.
Will potentially winning the Youth Cup keep Noisy in a job? Who knows but we aim to give it our best shot and not think about our league position when participating in the competition.

Leverkusen done a bit of transfer business this weekend after agreeing a deal with Aston Villa which saw Premier League winning RB Danny Simpson arrive for Alex Galvez who had never really settled after moving to the club at the end of season 2. Danny will provide cover for Bender and allow me to potentially move Bender into midfield for certain games.

David Silva remains available for transfer but as of yet the club haven't received no offers which is very surprising considering the rating of Silva and he has only just turned 30 many will say he is only just in his prime now. Leverkusen require two 90 rated players for him.

Hakan Calhanoglu was recently linked with a move to Turin giants Juventus but it is reported Leverkusen turned down the bid as they felt it wasn't the right time for a move for him.
Noisy could now potentially listen to offers for the talisman but it would require a very good offer to part company with him.
The Final Push!
Earle has been busy over the past few weeks bringing in several new players in a late attempt to turn their season around after their slide down the table. One of the most impressive signings has been David Villa who returned to Spain from Bestikas for a fee of just £2.5 million. The arrival of the 34-year-old made all the fans forget the clubs problems and come together to celebrate. Villa has since made 8 appearances in the attack midfield role as Benjamin Moukandjo holds on to the centre forward role. Free agent Julian Palmieri has also joined Espanyol on a two year deal. The French left back will provide further depth at the back and may take the end of the season to make his move as Pablo Armero has looked to have dropped form and lost his starting spot. Further defensive cover was brought in with the signing of James Tomkins from West Ham. Originally a central defender Earle has used the 6'4" Englishman as cover at right back following the departure of Azevedo Silvio. Tomkins is set to face competition from Atiba Hutchinson for the starting right back position but Earle has indicated that Hutchinson will play a small role for the remainder of the season. Gonzalo Martinez has travelled to Aston Villa to discuss terms over a proposed move to England after failing to impress for the Spaniards. As a short term replacement Earle has signed Anwar El Ghazi on loan from Juventus. The 21-year-old is familiar with the club having spent time with them last season. However, El Ghazi isn't assured a starting spot as Edin Visca has enjoyed a strong season and Nathan Redmond looks to jump at his first team opportunity. Espanyol have also completed the signing of Scottish midfielder James Morrison from Hull City, It is expected he will play a major role in the squad which will leave Domingues Claudemir and Abdoulaye Doucoure to fight for a starting spot. Alexandu Epureanu has been promoted to the starting team after impressing in the shield run. This came with the shocking news that captain Robson Weligton would be departing. The 37-year-old has had a medical at Stuttart ahead of his move to help the Division 4 side during their injury crisis. Weligton has played 48 games for Espanyol after Earle signed him for £600k last season. Mauro Dos Santos is expected to become his long term replacement as part of a proposed deal for Gonzalo Martinez. Rumours also indicate that Danny Simpson may also be making a return to Spain although no deal has yet been confirmed yet. Roque Mesa and Sambou Yatabare are both also undergoing medicals at Espanyol after Earle looked to increase the squad depth dramatically. It is thought that Earle will look to add at least 2 more players by next week.
With the season coming into the final stretch Espanyol fans are still unsure of how to react to the season so far. Many had expected Espanyol to threaten for automatic promotion but that is now looking unlikely. The fans now hope that the squad can make it into the play off spots and do enough to gain promotion. Earle has made sure to remind them of their outstanding undefeated run in the cup with wins over Augsburg, Bayern and Chievo as well as draws with Liverpool (win on penalties) and Inter Milan (loss on penalties). Can the new additions to the squad do enough to ensure an immediate return to Division 4 or will the Spaniards spend another season at the bottom.
T100 Spanish Club Review & Predictions
Not to be outdone by the Italian hack Gino Kinnearo T100’s Spanish Football Correspondent and toilet paper salesman Miguel McCarthio has cast a lazy eye over the clubs from the country of oranges, doubloons and pissed, sun burnt English tourists to give his far from expert assessment on the country’s clubs so far this season and predictions come the end of it.
Division 1
Barcelona
Scott McKenzie continues to bask in the glory of the easiest job in football by apparently leading Barca to another stroll towards the league title.
In fairness Scott has put together a squad, formation and tactics that work and others find hard to break, seeing little need to dabble in the transfer market he ploughs his own furrow and generally keeps his own council.
A worry may be the lack of success in the Cup, Shield and Youth Cup, which may indicate a lack of depth and young talent coming though, as expected though they are pushing strong in the Champions Cup and World Club Cup.

End of Season Prediction: Champions
Real Madrid
Roy Keane seems determined to punch below his weight this season with Real floundering outside the Champions Cup qualification places.
Whilst the Bernabeu faithful crave the league title Roy appears to be carving the path of least resistance in targeting cup competitions, already in the T100 Cup final and going strong in the Champions Cup, World Club Cup and Youth Cup competitions this ploy appears likely to deliver silverware.

End of Season Prediction: Champions Cup Qualification & Cup Silverware
Valencia
After being brought in to avoid relegation last season and doing so against the odds David Senior will have been looking to consolidate and avoid a similar scrap this season.
Whilst no means safe Senior appears to be steering Los Che away from the drop zone and having achieved the clubs first ever victory in any cup competition steered them to the T100 Cup semi-final. Whilst a lack of squad depth may have resulted in their failure in this competition their presence in the Youth Cup Quarter Finals indicate that there is decent young blood coming through.

End of Season Prediction: Mid-Table Mediocrity
Atletico Madrid
Atletico fans will be hoping The Doctor has more up his sleeve than just a sonic screwdriver in the closing third of the season as they battle to avoid being sucked into the relegation zone.
With time travel not being an option and the two Manchester clubs gaining ground the Doc may be forced to look at cashing in some of his youth talent to strengthen his first team squad however this could be hard decision to make with the youngsters chasing glory in the Youth Cup.

End of Season Prediction: Relegation
Division 2
Sevilla
After taking over at the club after their ignominious fall from Div 1 grace Rab Kennedy has worked hard to rebuild the squad and avoid the momentum of last seasons relegation taking them down again.
In a tight division they sit a handful of points away from the play-offs and only a slightly bigger handful of points away from the drop zone. Rab will be hoping that with no cup distractions a recent upturn in form can be continued through the last third of the season and see them push for the play-off lottery.

End of Season Prediction: Mid-Table Safety
Division 3
Athletic Club
Whilst many Athletic fans were calling for Gareth Crisps head on a stick after last seasons relegation from Div 2 the board stuck by him given the limited time he had to turn the ship around.
In turn Gareth by and large has stayed faithful to the players with few first team ins and outs so far this season. This appears to be paying dividends with Athletic sitting in a play-off place, recent form may suggest that automatic promotion may be a stretch too far but in another tight division anything is possible.
Investment in youth has been evident with a decent run in the Youth Cup seeing them reach the Quarter Finals whilst the first team have reached the same stage of the World Club Cup.

End of Season Prediction: Play-Offs
Division 4
Villareal
In the crazy world that is Division 4 Andrew Kelly seems intent on following up winning the Div 5 title last season with the Div 4 crown this.
With minimal tinkering to the squad Andrew has found a higher level of consistency than his rivals and the chasing pack this combined with no cup distractions during the run in could bode well for back to back promotions.

End of Season Prediction: Champions
Malaga
After narrowly missing out on automatic and play-off promotion last season Greg Bilboa would have been expecting more of the same for this season, however going into the final third they find themselves fighting at the wrong end of the table.
Having said that nothing in Div 4 is quite as it seems, whilst being 1 point and 1 place above the relegation zone Malaga are only 3 points away from the play-off places.
Greg has been no slouch in the transfer market with a number of players entering and leaving La Rosaleda as he has looked to improve the squad. Don’t be surprised at a few more before the season ends has he looks for that additional boost towards the finish line.

End of Season Prediction: Mid-Table Safety
Division 5
Espanyol
After last seasons relegation from Div 4 Greg Earle wielded the axe on the squad in attempt to freshen it up for the fight this season.
Erratic form combined with a run in the Shield which took them to the Quarter Final sees them hovering just outside the play-off places and with vital games against other promotion hopefuls to come Greg will be hoping for more consistency in the run in.

End of Season Prediction: Narrowly Missing Out on Making Play-Offs
Celta Vigo
The second of the triumvirate of Spanish clubs that dropped down from Div 4 last season where Ryan Chisholm has largely stood by the squad that took them down.
In fairness it is a strong squad for this division and Ryan will be disappointed they aren’t flying higher and like Espanyol they have games against promotion rivals a plenty in the final third.
Having established a decent youth set up Ryan has guided them to the Quarter Final of the Youth Cup which is a good sign for the future.

End of Season Prediction: Sneaking a Play-Off Spot
Levante
The last of the relegated trio and if the team had a point for every time Tom Parfitt appeared in the Belgian press they’d already be heading back to Div 4.
Tom has been very active in the transfer market in an effort to improve the squad though it hasn’t translated into results as yet as they find themselves flirting with the foot of the table nearly as much as Tom does with Lana Del Rey.
With no realistic chance of making the play-offs Tom will be concentrating on putting together some consistency and decent results in the final leg of the season.

Following on from the comprehensive review of the Italian managers over the previous two seasons it is now time for the Italian Manager Review season 3. This season Gino Kinnearo has also decided to compare the scores from the previous 2 seasons to see if that manager has shown any improvement.
DP 91 Juventus are as doped up as a non-banned Russian athlete at the Rio Olympics and this is the sole reason for their continued supposed dominance of the better managers that surround them, take Gordon Kinnear for example or David Senior with that Juventus side they’d have come mid-table and they are talented managers yet DP somehow finds an extra gear from somewhere or is it an extra injection? One thing is for certain DP doesn’t give his players Lucozade sport at half-time and yet Frank Hirst stands by and lets this happen – disgraceful.
In addition his continued hounding of every man and his dog in order to strengthen his squad is abysmal he is a homeless man sleeping outside the house of a different manager every evening and then taking his personal helicopter to training each morning. One manager reported 20x missed calls, 15 text messages, 12 messages on fb messenger, 10 emails, 8 tweets, 5 whatsapp messages and 1 voicemail in the space of 1 hour from the horrible excuse of a man - all enquiring for the same player and most were aggressive in nature.

Mister Dinosaur T-Rex Malcolm Fiorentina - This season Mister Malcolm hasn’t failed to disappoint as ever and he has been about as brilliant as a gelato in Antarctica, once again proving that dinosaur tactics have no place in the new match engine and even Mr Gore has called for Malcolm to be sacked. The former “supposed” Italian team of the year have lost their heart, a heart ripped out by a blunt and boring style of football brought by an overaged manager who finds himself grappling onto the slippery pole that will surely see him sacked come early October.
Malcoasauras some of the Florentine press have come to call him in recent weeks.

Fred Dodger Lazio – Sensational – but still not as good as Beddows – he is without doubt the most over achieving Italian manager in the whole of SM Top 100 – so out of his depth that he is having to use an inflatable pink lilo just to stay afloat. Whilst his work this season might be miraculous there is some doubt to its legitimacy as last season he survived at the death on the last day and numerous sightings across the globe of Dodger and Hirst at several Costa Coffee outlets in Umbria, Liguria, on the French Riveria, on the Copacabana and on Merseyside have sparked rumours that some sort of method of payment has resulted in the season that Lazio are having.

Rob Ryan Napoli – another manager who has overachieved perhaps following his promotion from Div 2 last season. As to why there are where they are there are any number of explanations but other more brilliant managers – like The Doctor at Atletico and Noisy are Leverkusen underperforming are making Rob look better than what he actually is. In addition, inconsistent team selections and too many experiments are not being supported by the Napoli board or supporters – does he think he is some kind of scientist?

Stephen Beddows AC Milan – Beddows has once again proved his brilliance as a manager – top of the table for much of the season but his side have suffered due to a relentless calendar with the WCC and Youth Cup commitments but find themselves with a good chance of avoiding relegation as we approach the 2/3 part of the season.
Balotelli otherwise known as God has been a revelation once again with an amazing amount of goals this season, the youths have been excellent and even though we expect Milan to finish about 10th do not be surprised if they overachieve this season and finish 9th.
The continued oppression of Milan by other T100 managers clearly isn’t working this season but as Beddows said he and his players are only human and the continued bullying is likely to take its toll sooner or later – but so far so good – EXCELLENT.

Neil Frankland AS Roma - Not having a bad season once again but Neil as a manager is clearly like a good jockey whose horse always goes lame 4 fences before the end and we shouldn’t expect anything less this season. Any manager who abandons his side to his kids to go on holiday mid-season to the Dominican Republic should be publically flogged and if this was Roman times for sure the fans would have sent Frankland to be a Gladiator where he’d stand no chance.
Most Roma fans are largely disappointed with the lack of progress under Frankland and to be honest with the word “Frank” in his surname believed that they would be given some favours by the T100 hierarchy – some Roma fans have called him lazy for not trying to capitalize on this remarkable coincidence but it appears that Frankland is only interested in succeeding in his new chain of Coffee shops he has opened in Rome (Frankie’s) as opposed to bring success on the football field.

Brian Clough Inter Milan – Absolutely disgraceful again from Clough. He is a poor excuse for an Inter manager and following on from such failures as Dr Fox and PMW he was only ever going to surely emulate their effectiveness at failure – yet he actually went a step further and got them relegated.
Most Inter fans expected at least Top 7 this season but that is seeming unlikely at present with the possibility of Inter surpassing their City rivals about as likely to happen as Wayne Rooney to lose the England captaincy. Farcical is a word many journalists have used to describe some of Brian’s post-match interviews this season following defeats against minnows such as Donetsk, Lyon and Lokomotiv Moscow – I mean who the hell is Greg Owen!

Frank Hirst Genoa – a success story that is about as surprising as Nigel Farage’s decision to step down, everyone knew that Frank does not take defeat lightly and as such it is actually against the rules in T100 to beat Genoa and Frank. Beddows has long continued to vent this rhetoric around the gameworld yet no one listens and Frank continues to dominate. His signings are all clearly about as innocently clean as Gadhafi and yet still no action. It is perhaps a forgone conclusion that Frank will continue to rise up and up the leagues and Gino for one has already decided to bet £1million pound on Genoa going up again next season, unfortunately the odds are as little as 1/100000 so he doesn’t stand to win much.

Attila Olah Udinese – the Hungarian hound continues to produce miracles in the Youth Cup as his side next fact the might of Real Madrid. Yet in the league they continue to be uninspiring, like his countrymen Attila has proposed to build a fence to stop the dissenting fans from getting into the ground on matchday but when he realised this would mean he wouldn’t be able to pay the wages of such talents as Pohjanpalo and Kouassi he quickly backed down.
Having been in charge at Udine for 12 months now there clearly has been no signs of improvement in the first XI aside from cheating to win the Division 4 play off in season 1 and many fans want him out.

Sean Cass Atalanta – Milan’s nearest neighbour who they actually get on with. Sean is a fantastic manager whose own success this season is almost mirror image of Milan’s and that can be put down to Beddows and the regular glass of Barbera wine and plate of pasta which the two managers regularly share at Beddows’ favourite Brazilian restaurant in Milan (happy to name it if any of you ever go.)
Consistency in results and team selection have seen Sean get the best out of his average players like Mehmedi and Flanagan and don’t be surprised if they do go up to Division 3 next season.

paddy d Chievo Verona – Paddy is in his first full season in charge at Chievo and he manages a side who are about as up and down as the Vengaboys yet presently find themselves just outside the play offs. With a front two of Ibisevic and Pelle without question have the fire power to push on and get promotion but the temperament of Paddy, a man with Irish ancestry and known to turn up to training drunk may take its toll and have a negative impact on the other players.

André Libras-Boas Hellas Verona – Andre has had the unenviable task of following in the footsteps of such greats as Marco De Angelis and Davy (that Furry guy from Belgium) yet he is performing quite well and like his city rivals find themselves on the brink of the play-offs.
A well balanced squad is certainly in evidence here but having a double barrelled surname might have a negative impact on the Verona natives who are more used to Montagues and Capulets as opposed to Libras-Boas’ who has not endeared himself to the locals with his criticism of the local area and its culture or lack of – one such story occurred when he criticised the Verona authorities for banning ‘ethnic kebab shops’ now making it nigh on impossible to find a decent kebab within a 100 mile radius and has resulted in Andre losing about 10lbs.

Michael Hudson Torino – Are we going to get through an anaylsis of Huddo without mentioning Kangaroos, well we shall try. Again a largely disappointing season for Huddo who has a squad capable of dominating sides, yet like his own nation at the Olympics he appears to be a man who cannot cope with pressure and is quite happy to finish 5th and 6th and publically applaud the victors whilst privately scratch his head trying to understand why it is not he who is at the top – grow a pair of bloody balls Huddo.
It was reported in the Sydney Morning Herald that Huddo’s approach to management doesn’t resemble a typical Aussie bouncing up and down but at half-time he plays the players episodes of My Little Pony and Care Bears and his philosophy of “love for everyone” is not supported by the players.
It remains to be seen if he will be sacked come the end of the season but surely after 3 seasons of no success it is time for a change in Turin.

Bob «Groucho» Sal Sassuolo – Bob is a man loved by all at Gazzatta dello Sport and it breaks our heart to see him struggling for breathe at the wrong end of Division 4. He kindly let Beddows progress in the Youth Cup and this is a favour that shall not be forgotten but could Sassuolo really be facing double relegation? Who is at fault surely Bob is to blame?
Not so – the “Blame Bob” campaign which has been started by a large number of the Sassuolo fans is an utter disgrace and is probably financed by DP and his supporters to unsettle the club and force Bob out allowing Drum, Zaza and Luan to move to Juventus for cut price cash deals.
We hope Bob will survive but do not feel that the Canadian manager will last out the winter.

Marco De Angelis Sampdoria – A brilliant appointment which has turned out to be slightly uninspiring. The Sampdoria fans were delighted to have an angel as their manager expecting him to bring uplifting performances and wings of goals yet this has not materialised and Marco is said to be frustrated by the continued references to angels by the press.
He has had to rebuild his side from scratch and therefore we should recognise this in the review and we hope that he will survive the sack race.

Managerial Stipulations- how are things going?

With 13 games left in the season, I take a look at how the 12 managers who put forward managerial stipulations are going in the season, and whether they will keep their job or get the sack.
Note: I'm not sure if Youth Cup/World Club Cup count towards cup competitions as they are not official cups, so I consider them as not counting towards cup competitions for the purposes of this post.

1. DP 91 - Juventus
- Juventus finish below 10th in Division 1
- Juventus do not make a final in any of the cup competitions
In the scenario that Juventus finish in 11th-20th position in any seasonal campaign & also fail to make it to the final of any of Top 100's cup competitions, DP91 would resign with immediate effect & seek employment at another club within Top 100.
Juventus are comfortably placed, being a full 20 points ahead of Napoli who sit at 11th. The Turin-based side are 3rd with 50 points, 11 behind Bayern and 16 behind leaders Barcelona. They are also 5 points ahead of Dortmund and 6 points ahead of Madrid and Liverpool who are just out of the European spots. On the cup front, Juve were knocked out in the Shield 4th round by Porto, losing 2-0, but they face a big night at the Mestalla tomorrow, where they play the Cup semi-final vs Valencia. A loss could force DP out of the club. It will be interesting to see how he approaches that game. They are on course to finishing 3rd in the league, but the cup is where things matter at the moment. Juve are still in the Champions Cup, where they play fellow Italians Palermo, so that could save his head.
Prediction: Stay

2. David Senior - Valencia
- Valencia finish below 16th in Division 1
In the scenario that Valencia finish in 17th-20th position in any seasonal campaign, David Senior would resign with immediate effect & seek employment at another club within Top 100.
Valencia are 9 points ahead of 17th placed Manchester United, propped up in mid-table (11th) with 31 points. Barring a spectacular collapse, David Senior will stay on at the Mestalla for another season. He will, however, want to beat DP in tomorrow's big semi-final.
Prediction: Stay

The promotion race in Division 2 is tight, with a number of teams in it. Brian Clough is currently in danger of the sack, as his side sit at 10th place, 3 behind 7th placed Newcastle. It will be a tense couple of months as Inter try to push into the play-offs spot. Even if he does make it to 7th, the Inter faithful may still force him out if they are forced to see bitter rivals AC Milan lift the trophy at the San Siro.

Division 3 is also tight, but at the moment Besiktas are trying to push for automatic promotion. The Turks are currently 5th with 41 points, 4 behind 3rd placed Aston Villa. Though they are only 2 ahead of Cruzeiro (8th), they are a full 8 ahead of Southampton (11th), so Nathan Prince should be safe in his job come next season.

In the scenario that Real Madrid finish in 11th-20th position in any seasonal campaign & also fail to make it to the final of any of Top 100's cup competitions, Roy Keane would resign with immediate effect & seek employment at another club within Top 100.
Similar to DP, when it comes to the league, Madrid are comfortable. They are pushing for the top 4, just a point behind Dortmund who are 4th. With 44 points, they are 14 ahead of 11th placed Napoli. Madrid were knocked out of the shield early on in the 2nd round by Juventus's neighbours, Torino. However they face Porto away in the other cup semi-final tomorrow. A big game for Roy Keane and his future at the Bernabeu. A loss could see him lose his job. RM are still in the Champions Cup, where they play Krasnodar in the next round, so that could be his saving grace. Let's see; T100 will be watching keenly.

- VFB Stuttgart finish below 10th in Division 4
Division 4 is the tightest division this season, so even though Stuttgart are 5th with 37 points, they are only 4 ahead of 11th placed Hamburger. In fact, they are only 6 points ahead of Dynamo Moskva, who are 17th and are in the relegation zone. On the other hand, they are 5 behind leader leaders (for now) Villarreal. Thus, Feargal's side could finish anywhere in the table, so it is up to his team to play well consistently in order for their manager to stay in his job.

- Schalke finish below 15th in Division 1
Winless in the last 9 games, and having lost his last 7, Sameer Arshad's grip on his job is precarious. Their loss of form has seen them fall to 16th, at which he would lose his job at the end of the season. Only 2 behind Atletico Madrid (15th), an upturn in form could see him remain safely. On the other hand, further performances like the last few could see Schalke flirt with relegation. Unlikely to lose his job outright (19th placed Leverkusen are 10 behind), Sameer has to work hard in the coming weeks to secure safety both personally and as a team.

Lokomotiv are 14th, but the twist here is that Greg Owen left Russia for Wolfsburg few weeks back, with the Moscow outfit appointing Ashley Holtom. Naturally the stipulation agreed by Greg is void, so Ashley has to focus on keeping his side in D2. Good luck to him.

Carlos Bacca is firing Villa to automatic promotion, or so it seems. Villa have failed to promote in S1 and S2 despite coming close; this year they are contending for 2nd/3rd place with International and other teams (with Genoa flying). Rahul W has choked in previous seasons, which is always possible this year. Likely to make it to the play-offs, but whether it will be 3rd time lucky has to be seen. Let's hope it is.

Mark Deadman was bold in his stipulation, however he is highly unlikely to keep his job. West Brom are currently 18th with 23 points, and are 10 behind 10th placed Twente. A miracle is possible, though unlikely. Mark is highly likely to lose his job either through finishing 19th/20th or through his stipulation.

Bayern are challenging with Barcelona for the title. The Germans are 5 behind leaders Barcelona, a fight that will be fun to watch. The Champions Cup must remain a prerogative then: if they get knocked out of that, Gursimran will have to face the sack. They play QPR in the coming round. The developments in the coming weeks should be interesting.

Boca Juniors...Mid-Season Review...The Plan Comes Alive
Boca Juniors…The Pride of Argentina…
The fans crave success, they crave being the best, they can’t quite admit to themselves that the best is a long way off where they have found themselves but the new regime at La Bombonera is not short of ideas or confidence…but reality rules for now and the fans are trying hard to buy into a plan, a project…a dream.
Enter Sir Kevin Wallace…the man who turned Marseille into a lethal drawing machine…and the man now tasked with a revolution and a dream.
The plan seemed simple, Argentina’s greatest club would consist of only home grown players…well that box has been ticked and the 50 strong squad now contains no players who could not play for the national side of Argentina if called upon…the fans love it, they see the pride, the pride of Argentina in every player and they love it…
The Chairman was realistic after last season, he got the man he wanted in charge and all he asked was that the club move forward…have a plan, stick to it, make it work.
So 22 league games in to the revolution how is it going?
Last season’s point a game average now sits at 1.36…on course for 51 points which would almost half the mighty 23 point gap that existed last season between Boca and the play-off positions. Consistency has been a problem, injuries to key players and trying to find 2 or 3 formations that can be adapted have seen points lost to teams below the club but it’s a tight league and that is proven with Boca currently sitting 9th in the league…two wins from the play-offs…two defeats from the relegation zone…a league that tight is tough to navigate at the best of times, even more so when you are trying to make some progress and the plan is still a long way off being where you want to be.
The balance of the squad is the next project in the bigger plan…Boca didn’t enter the Youth Cup this season simply because they didn’t have a youth team…That is slowly changing and over the next few weeks there are plans in place to add to the Youth Squad and bring it to around 20 players reducing the First Team to 30…There are some interesting talents at the club and they need an outlet to shine so getting the squad right and entering the Youth Cup next season is a box that must and will be ticked.
Some good performances have seen Boca escape the group phase of the World Club Cup with relative ease and the challenge of a trip to Valencia next Wednesday in the knockout rounds is eagerly awaited…The plan has no specifics on success at this stage but over the next few seasons winning a trophy and promotion must be the aim if returning Boca to the place the fans desire is to be the goal.
The fans seem to trust their manager, they seem to be buying into the plan, they know that it is not something that will happen overnight but may take 2-3 seasons to see real results but if it means they get where they think they belong then that time will be allowed and will reap rewards.
And what of the players…the standouts so far…
Geronimo Rulli has been by far the player of the season, a goalkeeper who surely must become the regular No1 for the national side in the next few years. Sir Kevin Wallace knows he has something special between the sticks there and a long term contract seems sure to be signed at the end of the season.
Marco Ruben was brought in early in the project and has done well, some sublime free kicks to win games and an asset that will surely grow in the fans hearts.
Alejandro Gomez although blighted by injuries has been a threat up front when played, the project probably needs a scoring foil for him up front to help, and of course staying fit would also help. When Gomez plays Boca play, when he doesn’t the results tend to reflect that!
Others have played their part, some like Hector Villalba await their real shot at the first team but their time will come…this is the plan, the project, foundations and then success…this is the future of Boca Juniors.

Fiorentina , the long good bye, mid season review.
The situation looks bleak and is bleak.
With no win in any competition since Jul 19th the only hope is to avoid the sack but even that would need a dramatic change in form.
Statistically and in reality the weakest team in Division 1 , it would need a minor miracle to avoid any thing other than the wooden spoon.After a poor start and realistically facing teams it is nigh on impossible to beat, a good cup run, a good win and draws against better teams saw Fiorentina on the up.
However the fact of the matter is that with a leading scorer on 5 goals , and attack argueably the stongest part of the team, a team that doesn't play to it's strength is likely to come of worse.
The one and only highlight is the addition of some good youngsters which should help the new manager whoever that will be. Not to say I have given up but without a single home win in the league, the sack is coming for sure.
Balotelli Rocks New 'Mink' Hairdo
Mario Balotelli today sported a new look ahead of the trip to St James retail park and staff dungeon.
Ever the character, his barber suggested a new 'Mink' hairdo, which he assured Balorz was all the rage in Milan's finest salons. The final result was most displeasing to the goalgetter, so he opted for a live mink look instead.
Balorz said he was 'delighted with my new look. I've given it a name. Miko. With Miko adorning my barnet we will terrorize defences across the division.' He then fed 'Miko' some crayfish which he pulled from his pocket.
Juventus manager DP, who has bid a cheeky £10M for the star, was unavailable for comment. However it is thought, according to a club insider, that he was unhappy with the new development and had already warned Paul Pogba against following suit. Poggers for his part favours a 'Stingray' look and has been seen shopping at Turin's Aquario.

Manager’s View:
Although pretty much an ever present in Division 5’s top 7 Celtic have arguably stood still since Season 2. The future potential is there but is dependent upon ratings rises. The pool of 23 (largely unused) players rated 85/86 needs to produce to push into the established 18 man match day squad. It’s a long-term, youth-based strategy which requires patience at the expense of immediate progression. The focus of attention during the next phase of recruitment will be the defence.

Doubtless things will eventually quieten down in both Spain and Belgium eventually, but for now Levante are a side on the up. They have moved away from the foot of the table, and although they have a tricky set of fixtures looming, the confidence in both the first and youth team's is at a real high.
Anderlecht on the other hand are a club seemingly in freefall right now. Has the Playboy Prince taken his eye off the ball? Will he be able to turn it around again and get the club back to challenging for the title?
The season is still long, with many twists and turns ahead, but at the moment, the two sides are heading in opposite directions in the table. Will they cross over at some point? On last night's evidence, you would have to think so.....

LITTLE HAVING A SNEAK PREVIEW OF HIS NEW TROOPS
Norman Little returned home to his roots as he was appointed manager of 2nd divison Newcastle United(sounds familiar doesn't it) and is determined to repay the faith shown in him.
In what has been a whirlwind 7 months of managerial merry-go-round for me in which I have had a short spell at Fenerbache before the lure of English football brought me to West Brom, unfortunately being a thick Geordie I didn't read the small print in the contract and was sacked a few games later(writing off a season and pissing around with formations/tactics isn't advisable when you finish in bottom 2 and get sacked...forward planning eh) and that brought me to Twente, well if Steve McClaren can have success there I may as well have a blast, and I set about a rebuilding job that genuinely I had no intention of leaving until Oran Robson quit Newcastle....then I begged for the Job.
This is my club, the one which give me grey hair at 20 years old and one which despite it's many pitfalls I bloody adore. Season ticket holder and lifelong member of the famous black and whites I pledge to give my all for the club.
On quick first glance at the club I have inherited a decent squad and one that I can play around with in regards to transfer's. Immediately Gini wijnaldum and Moussa Sissoko have been told they are not part of my Long term plans and I will be actively trying to flog them off(nee cash bids mind) Cabella, Cisse and Babel have all been told they need to prove their worth to the club or they will be next to be escorted off the premises. I think I am a bit light in defence so if anyone is after any of the aforementioned players then defenders will be looked at as part of any deals if possible.
The benefits of being back home now mean I'm off down the Bigg Market for a piss up and a kebab..till next time be good and be lucky

The Duel for Del Ray
The game of the week in div 5 this Sunday see’s Tom Parfitt’s Levante take on PMW’s Anderlecht. The game is already being dubbed the “Duel for Del Ray” in some quarters, and both managers will be chomping at the bit to take all 3 points, along with Lovely Lana’s heart. Prior to the game, both managers had a few words to say in a hastily arranged pre match press conference.

You made the front pages of the press by stating you only slept with Lana Del Rey to piss off Parfitt. His response was that it's all in your head. How do you react to that?
PMW: Allin my head he says? Well maybe he should check out Youtube. I uploaded the video two day's ago and it's had over 35,000 hits so far, and quite a few compliments from the viewers. And thanks Hewitt, I know.
Parfitt: Lana has been at home in Spain with me the whole time. Princess Marshmallow Wonderbra has clearly invented the whole thing, even going to the expense of hiring a body double. My bet is the double is one of David Senior, James Foster or Frank Hirst in a dress by the way.
Levante are rumored to be interested in Andy Najar. Is there anything init, or just antics to unsettle the player?
PMW: Do you know Andy Najar is an anagram of Lana Del Rey? It's not, but I bet you looked! Andy looks a little like Lana though so maybe there is something in it. Seriously though, I think Parfitt has been looking at all of my players as any would be an improvement on what he has at the moment. I can't imagine any of them banging on my bedroom door requesting a transfer to Levante though.
Parfitt: Actually, Andy Najar is an anagram of Najaryand. Najaryand is an ancient inca word which translates as Parfitt my leader, so really, if Anderlecht and Prince have anything about them, they will allow the young man to head here ASAP. At the end of the day, i'm sure every single pro worth his corn would rather play for me than live in the shadow of football's answer to Peter Stringfellow.
Given the issues between you both recently, how big a game has this become?
PMW: The game is huge for both of us regardless of recent issues. The game is about more than just us two though. There are 22 players on the pitch who don't even know who Lana Del Rey is. They'll be playing for 3 points.
Parfitt: The game is massive. Not just for me and Prince. Not just the players who take part. This game is massive for the people of Spain. If we win, it would be the greatest victory ever achieved by a team, or individual from Spain.
Is it just Prince you have beef with, or are there others too?
Parfitt: Oh, there are others all right. Stephen Beddows at AC Milan. Relegated with a club like that, nailing the bosses daughter, and he has the nerve to offer me £4 million for Isaac Success. He's still in a job? Unreal. DP. Named after an act performed by a particularly athletic young lady in grumblevids and he's still running Juve? Shocking. Roy Keane. I'd have won all there is with that Madrid squad. He hasn't even come close. Still working at the Bernabeau though. Disgraceful. Broon, only took the job because he mis-heard and thought somebody asked if he wanted a turkey sandwich. Oh, and Hewitt. Calls himself theKing. Well he wasn't so regal when we kicked his sorry little ass out of the cup earlier this season. Sorry King, sorry Prince, there is only one royal here, and he's running Levante.
What will you be discussing over thepost match glass of wine?
PMW: I doubt Parfitt will be there as he'll be running allover looking for a hand dryer. I'm having them all removed before the game as a precaution. He's very fond of them. If he does accept though he'll be in for a surprise. Lane will be there, and she'llkiss anybody after a few drinks, so he might just get lucky.
Parfitt: Bwwaaahhhaaahhhaaa, only a fool would believe that. She has very exacting standards that only the best, ie me, can match. I'll be inviting Prince in. Ive got a bottle of that girly pink wine cooling in preperation. Being a man's man though, i'll be getting stuck into a crate of Tennents Super. I'll probably have a mate or two around as well in case Prince Big Ball's gets a bit leary.
