Olympiacos Press Conference

This evening olympiacos officially unveiled there new manager after the departure of Alex McLean. Former besets manager the prince of Persia has agreed a 1 year rolling contract to take over the division 5 champions.

Paulo bento was asking the questions to the new manager.

PB.first of all nathan congratulations on getting the job as  Olympias’s  manager could I first ask what made you apply for the job after Alex McLean departure.

NP. thank you very much Paulo I’m very happy to finally have arrived in Greece ahead of the new season. I was very happy at besiktas and thought I did a great job at that club but nothing was good enough for those annoying fans. They always wanted more.so I spoke to the chairman and made it clear I would be leaving regardless of if I got them promoted.

PB.you seem to have moved on a few players and brought some in how far away do you think you are from the team you want.

NP. first of all I never really wanted to let any players go. you must be forgetting this side just become champions so the structure is already there. But I felt I had to put my own stamp on the team. I’m hoping to work on 2 or 3 more signings if I can and then ill be pretty happy?

PB. do you feel extra pressure to achieve what Alex McLean did at the club?

NP. no I don’t what Alex achieved at this club was brilliant and no doubt will go down in the clubs history but I’m not going to worry about living up to Alex. We must improve on last season and that’s the plan.

PB.what are your views on division 4?

NP lets be honest this is one hell of a league and we will have to be at our very best. to achieve our targets.

PB. would you be open to giving your views on any managers in division 4?

NP there’s some top managers in this league and I look forwarded to the season ahead

PB what sort of rules can you players expect this season that may be different from the previous regime.

NP the only rule I have is no betting for the players at all after a former player ended up losing his home halfway through the season after he got in over his head.

PB that’s interesting if you were to put on a bet next season what would it be?

NP well tbh that’s easy. my bet would be on Balotelli letting of fireworks in Stephens house. Lets be honest that’s all he does is moan that manager. how those players put up with him ill never no I’m presuming being married to the owners daughter has something to do with that. if it all goes pear shaped we will see fireworks at the san sire this season I just feel sorry for Alex and the inter boys sharing that stadium must be a night mare with pictures of Stephen on every door and window.
