Below are the Awards for Division 3 Players & Managers…

Division 3 Manager of the Season

3rd Place: Sir Walter Smith (CSKA Moscow) 4%
2nd Place: michael h (Ajax) 35%
1st Place: rab kennedy (Basel) 47%

The Division 3 Title race also went down to the wire, with 1 game to go 3rd placed Ajax leapfrogged Ajax & Basel to snatch the title. The real success story of Division 3 was Rab Kennedy of Basel who was supposed to be fighting for his life, but managed to finish 1 point off the top and has sicne gone on to take the vacant post at Sevilla.

Division 3 Young Player of the Season

3rd Place: Abdul Rahman BABA (Basel) 26%
2nd Place: Max MEYER (CSKA Moscow) 33%
1st Place: Naby KEÏTA (Sassuolo) 35%

Although Sassuolo finished in the relegation places, Naby Keita was a shining light in their side, but will be hoping for more playing time back in Division 4 next season.

Division 3 Player of the Season

3rd Place: Luuk DE JONG (PSV) 15%
2nd Place: Zoran TOŠIĆ (Basel) 31%
1st Place: Emmanuel EMENIKE (CSKA Moscow/Aston Villa) 32%

Emenike started the season in fantastic form with 5 TOTW apps in the first 9 games of the season, but was transferred to Aston Villa in the 2nd half of the season where he took a little time to settle in and just missed out on promotion via the playoffs with Villa. Emenike will be playing for his 3rd Division 3 club in a few months as he will be playing for relegated Athletic Bilbao next season.
