TOP 100 REGEN
Regen Rules
Top 100 Regen uses the Top 100 rulebook as its foundation. Unless a rule is listed below, the Top 100 rule applies.
Regen has a small number of deliberate differences, mainly around squad building and transfer values.
Regen-specific rules
Squad cap
From Season 4 onwards:
- Maximum 50 players across first team and youth squad combined.
- There is no minimum youth-squad requirement.
Previous squad-cap versions
- Seasons 1–2 used a 19 first-team / minimum 11 youth structure.
- Season 3 used a 40-player cap.
Transfers
- Maximum cash-only bid: £50m.
- There is no maximum total value for part-exchange transfers.
Previous transfer rule
- Seasons 1–2 used a £99m maximum bid, including the value of players offered in exchange.
Sackings and expectations
- Managers finishing in the bottom three are automatically sacked.
- Reappointment is considered according to activity, effort and participation.
Everything else
All other Top 100 rules apply to Regen, including the wider principles around squad limits, binding transfer agreements, new database players, third-party ownership and transparent future transfers.
If there is ever a conflict between an old Regen post and this page, this page is the current Regen-specific rule reference, while the main Top 100 rules remain canonical for everything not overridden here.
