Manager Portal
manager.smtop100.blog is where Top 100 managers sign in. Here’s what it’s for, and why I’m asking everyone to claim an account.
Why it exists
Soccer Manager used to give game world admins a way to message every manager at once. That’s gone: we’re now limited to 20 separate messages a day. With 100 clubs in Top 100 and another 100 in Top 100 Regen, that doesn’t go far.
Meanwhile, managers have spread across WhatsApp, Facebook, Discord and Telegram. Everybody uses something different, so getting an announcement, a vacancy or a fixture reminder to everyone has become a lot of extra work.
The Manager Portal replaces all of that for admin and group chat, in one place that’s private to Top 100. It’s also useful in-game: applying for jobs, registering for the Youth Cup, keeping track of your fixtures and results. Plenty more is to come.
One account, one manager
You get one account, tied to you as a manager rather than to a club or a browser. If you manage in both Top 100 and Top 100 Regen, the same account covers both. If you leave a game world, the account goes inactive without deleting your history, and it’s reactivated if you come back.
No separate login for every site, and no typing your name into five different forms.
What you can do with it
Group chat and admin messages (Top 100)
Top 100 Chat is a group space private to Top 100 managers, and it’s where admin announcements reach everyone at once.
Apply for jobs (Top 100)
When vacancies are advertised, apply from your account, listing the jobs you want in order.
Register for tournaments
When registration opens for the Youth Cup and other competitions, register your club without an organiser having to re-enter your details.
Your fixtures, results and progress
See your upcoming matches, recent results, group table and progress through each competition in one place. You can submit your own results, and forfeits where necessary. The usual review safeguards still apply.
Youth Cup reminders (Top 100)
If you opt in, you get an email when a new Youth Cup fixture is assigned, a reminder the day before, and another on the day if the result is still outstanding. Reminders are there to help: you still need to arrange the match with your opponent, make sure it’s played and submit the result.
For Saturday Youth Cup fixtures, the Soccer Manager match request must be sent before Wednesday.
Vote (Top 100)
Community Polls and the Manager Awards use your account, so every vote comes from a verified manager: no anonymous forms, duplicate votes or arguments about who was eligible.
Top 100 Regen
The same account covers tournament registration, fixtures and results in Regen, including the Regen Youth Cup. More Regen features will follow on the same account.
What it isn’t
- It isn’t a replacement for your other chats. Use WhatsApp, Discord or anything else you like with other managers. Nothing changes there.
- There’s no private messaging between managers. The chat is a group space, and admin messages go to managers. For one-to-one conversations, carry on using whatever you use now.
- It isn’t another social network. It’s there so the admin side of Top 100 works without chasing people across five apps.
Your email address and sign-in
Your email address is used to sign you in, link your account to the right manager, and send service emails you’ve opted into, such as Youth Cup reminders. It’s never shown publicly on the Top 100 sites, and it isn’t sold, given to advertisers or added to a marketing list.
You sign in with a secure one-time link sent to your email. After that you can keep using links, or set a password and sign in with email and password.
Sign-in and passwords are handled by an established authentication service, and emails are sent through an established email-delivery provider. The Top 100 sites don’t keep their own list of passwords or run their own mail server. Only the people running Top 100 services can see account administration, and you can turn reminders off at any time from your account.
The test for anything new stays the same: collect only what’s needed, explain what it’s for, and don’t quietly turn a football-game account into something else.
Claim yours
- Go to manager.smtop100.blog.
- Enter your email address and open the sign-in link we send you.
- Choose Top 100 or Top 100 Regen, pick your current club and confirm your Soccer Manager name.
Your claim is checked against the current manager list for that game world. If you manage in both worlds, claim once: the account covers both.
If you already have an account, just sign in with the same email address. Please don’t create a second one.
