Barcelona Crowned WCC Champions After Thrilling Final Against Juventus
Barcelona have done it again!
In a dramatic two-legged World Club Cup (WCC) final, the Spanish giants held off a fierce Juventus comeback to claim the title with a 6-4 aggregate victory. Under the steady leadership of manager Adam, this marks Barcelona’s third WCC title in just five seasons, solidifying their status as a modern dynasty.
First Leg: Barcelona 4-1 Juventus – Total Domination at Home
The final began with a statement performance at the Camp Nou, where Barcelona completely overwhelmed Juventus.
- Declan Rice opened the scoring with a thunderous strike from distance, setting the tone for the night.
- Juventus responded through Álvaro Morata, who leveled the score.
- Rodrygo put Barcelona again in the lead with a clinical finish after a swift attacking move.
- Robert Lewandowski made it 3-1 just short after halftime, showcasing his killer instincts inside the box.
- But Barcelona weren't done—Luis Díaz added a late fourth, leave the visitors reeling.
The match ended 4-1, putting Barcelona firmly in control ahead of the second leg in Turin.
Second Leg: Juventus 3-2 Barcelona – A Brave Fightback Falls Short
Backed by a passionate home crowd, Juventus came out swinging in the second leg, desperate to overturn the deficit.
- Kingsley Coman ignited hope with an early goal, exploiting space down the flank.
- Then Marcus Rashford stepped up with a sensational goal, bringing the score to 2-0 on the night and momentarily cutting the aggregate to 4-3.
But Barcelona kept their composure, leaning on their experience—and one man in particular.
- Lewandowski, rising to the occasion once again, responded with two crucial goals to halt Juventus' momentum. His brace not only kept Barcelona ahead on aggregate but sealed the deal.
- Last goal for Juventus was again from Rashford, but too late to make a difference in final result.
The second leg ended 3-2 in Juventus’ favor, but Barcelona’s first-leg cushion held strong, and they lifted the trophy with a 6-4 win across both matches.
Tactical Brilliance & Historic Achievement
Manager Adam deserves massive credit for masterminding another title run. This victory is his third WCC title in five seasons—a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about his consistency, tactical evolution, and ability to manage high-pressure games.
Barcelona’s mix of youth, experience, and attacking flair proved too much for Juventus over two legs. With this title, they not only add silverware to their cabinet but also continue to shape an era of dominance on the global stage.
Final Thoughts
The 2025 WCC Final delivered drama, quality football, and two world-class sides going head-to-head. Juventus with manager Kevin fought valiantly and showed glimpses of brilliance, but in the end, Barcelona’s firepower and composure won out.
As the dust settles, one thing is clear: Barcelona under Adam aren’t just winners—they’re building a legacy.

World Club Cup S25
New season around the corner, new World Club Cup is calling!
First of all big congratulations to both winners of last season, Porto in WCC and Juventus in WCS.
In new season we will have slightly different competition. History learned us that too many games can be too much for some managers to handle. That is why we will try with just one competition. It will still include all the teams of Top100 GW, just format will be changed.
All teams has been in random draw that gave us bracket with elimination games from first round on. Every round will be played with two games. As you can see on the schedule: WCC S25, some teams has free pass in Round 1. They had a luck in random draw, but this is necessary that system will work with 100 teams involved.
Below is schedule by the dates. As you can see we will start third Wednesday, 30th of April.

All rules of competition stays the same. This also includes how we will handle games that will finish tied after two games: Fictional Extra Time.
Only change in the rules will be in handling managers that they are not organizing their games. Based on last season's experience, we made a decision. Managers will need to be proactive if games are not played. Managers will need to contact me and show proof that they tried to organize their games. If not, both teams will be eliminated from the competition. Their opponent in the next round will get a free pass to the next level of competition.
Hope all is clear and we will have a lot of fun in new season. Enjoy in new format of WCC and hopefully we will see some big surprises this season.

WCC and WCS tournament S24
First of all, I want to thank all of you for your cooperation. Your support and help during last season's WCC and WCS tournament was invaluable. Congratulations again to both winners, Dortmund and Stoke City.
In new season, 24, we will have a little different format of our WCC and WCS tournament. Group stage will be organized in 10 different groups. All groups will include ten teams. There will be two teams from each division: D1, D2, D3, D4, and D5. Teams will be picked based on their final position on the league table at the end of season 23. Therefore, there will be no seed this season. For example: Top two teams from D1, D2, D3, D4 and D5 will be in same group. Then in the next group, we will include all third and fourth teams from D1, D2, D3, D4, and D5. And this system we will be use till we fill the last, 10th, group.
Each team in a group will play one game against each other, so 9 games in group format. After that we will go to knock out system, starting with R32. In WCC, teams that finish in the top 3 of each group, will qualify. This accounts for 30 teams. Additionally, the 2 best teams that finish in fourth place will also qualify. In WCS will qualify teams from place 4-6 and extra four best teams that will finished on place 7. All others will unfortunately finished this season WCC and WCS tournament.
Because we have this system, I would like to ask all of you to help me. Games will be played every Wednesday. It will be important to organize all of your group games and also knock out as soon as possible. We will start the competition on the third Wednesday of a new season. I want to make sure you don’t miss some games. First round will be after turn 3 (schedule in the table below). Round of 32 knockout stage will have just one game. This is the same format we have in the YC or YS competition. This setup allows us to have finals in WCC and WCS played in two games.

WCC and WCS winners of season 23
And we finally came to the end of this season of WCC and WCS competition. Amazing season with a lot of surprises come to an end with another surprise.
In WCC final we seen two teams with completely different stories. Dortmund, the best team in Top100 by the stats, finally managed to win a title. They played against the big surprise of the season, River Plate. Twice a narrow win (1-0; 1-0) brings some satisfaction and joy to their manager Dario. He hopes that this title will push the boys to challenge for the division title next season. River Plate, a D2 team, showed up in both matches and fight till the end, but unfortunately was not enough. We have to congratulate their manager Master T for amazing work and fight till last minute. In this season WCC competition, they managed to kick out teams like Porto, Verona, Levante etc. Amazing work!
In WCC we see a big surprise. D2 team Stoke City managed to beat D1 team Bayer Leverkusen (1-1; 2-1). Stoke, who managed before to kick out teams like Benfica, took an opportunity and delivered title to their fans. A pure joy and big celebration in a cold and rainy evening at Stoke. Manager Andrew Kelly, staff members, and his players celebrated all night. They will face a tough time getting fit for the last game of the season. This game can be crucial in the race to stay a D2 team. On the other side, Leverkusen manager Marco G and players are now in a small downfall with confidence. In less than a week they lost two finals, Youth Shield and now also WCS competition. The manager now hopes that players earn at least a point in the last game of the season. This will help keep the club in D1.
At that point, I want to thank all Top100 managers. Your cooperation in this season edition of WCC and WCS is greatly appreciated. In the next days, we will introduce a new format for the competition. This will bring even more exciting games for the new season.

The Final
The season is ending and we’re at the final stage of the WCC-WCS tournament. Started with 100 teams, now we have 2 teams in each tournament fighting for the final glory. They are just one step away from being crowned The Champions. As we can’t arrange a neutral venue for the final in SM, we have decided to have a 2-legged final in both WCC and WCS. 1st leg will be 22nd May and 2nd leg will be on 29th May – a week before the current season is done.
WCC

ROAD TO THE GLORY : BARCELONA
- A title contender in Division 1 is the only top flight team to make it to the final.
- Skipped first 3 round and played directly Qualifier 4 against Girondins Bordeaux and won 0-2 comfortably away from home and qualified to WCC.
- Hammered their local rivals Valencia in R32 in both home and away and made a statement through 8-0 score line.
- Had a little bit tough against another Spanish team Atletico Madrid in R16 but won 3-1 on aggregate.
- Real test began in QFs when they had to face FC Porto and expected to be close contest between two mighty forces but it was a walk in the park for Adam’s boys and won 5-2 on aggregate.
- Having faced big names in previous rounds, we got to admit Barca had it easy in Semis against Inter and won 3-1 on aggregate.
ROAD TO THE GLORY: RSC ANDERLECT

- A struggling Div 2 team in WCC Final – at least Neil and his boys will have something to cheer if they really can make it happen.
- Faced off against fellow Div 2 club in PSG in Qualifier 4 and won 0-2 comfortably and qualified to WCC.
- Defeated H.Berlin easily in R32 in both home and away and won 5-1 on aggregate.
- Battled against Sporting CP in R16 and won 5-2 on aggregate.
- It’s Div 2 club again in QFs when they faced SC Internacional and gone through with narrow wins in both legs. 2-0 on aggregate.
- It was in Semis, the Belgian club felt the heat when they were matched up against Chelsea but the London club failed to replicate their league form and surrendered to RSCA. 4-0 on aggregate.
Barcelona lost the league to Chelsea and were knocked out of YC last night and Adam will not want to end the season trophyless after starting the season on high note meanwhile Anderlect will have no chance against their mighty opponents but you never know in football and maybe fairytale awaits for the Belgian Club.
WCS

ROAD TO THE GLORY: LIVERPOOL
- The underdogs in this final – Chris will be more motivated and aimed to have the perfect final 180 mins.
- Defeated by Hellas Verona in Qualifier 4 - this pushed them down to compete in WCS. A blessing in disguise.
- Battered Div 1 relegation battlers in R32 and won 6-2 on aggregate.
- Had it very easy against a Div 5 club Girodins Bordeaux in R16 and made a statement win through 8-1 scoreline.
- Another weak team SS Lazio in QFs but the same old story. Easy win – 8-3 on aggregate.
- Having had easy run so far, The Scousers had a tough meeting in Semis against Bayern and went through with narrow scorline. 4-3 on aggregate.

ROAD TO THE GLORY: LEVANTE UD
- Tournament favourites, Levante fighting for 3 trophies and we can see why they will and they can win it all.
- Defeated by inactive-most-of-time Gursi’s FC Koln in Qualifier 4 - this pushed them down to compete in WCS.
- Had a tough outing against Santos FC in R32 and qualified to next round with 3-2 on aggregate.
- Having learnt the lesson, Levante stormed passed Galatasaray SK in R16 and won 7-1 on aggregate.
- Defeated FC Schalke in QFs comfortably through 3-1 scoreline.
- Had a difficult test against God’s Sampdoria in Semis and a decent home game etched their name into the finals.
Liverpool had it easy on initial rounds of the tournaments but had to break a sweat in Semis when they faced the real opponent. Levante on the other hand are high flying after making YC finals last night and fighting for 3 trophies at the moment. Definitely high adrenaline rush will help them in their quest to treble.
We thank all the participating managers for their kind co-operation and their support in making this tournament successful. Thank you and good luck.
