No special rules apply to the World Club Cup, so all players are eligible to play and are shown as 100 % fit. The match in SM is regarded as a friendly fixture.

Rounds 1, 2, 3 and Semi Final will be one leg only.

Divisional Finals will be over two legs.

Games finished in a tie will be decided by fictional extra time, information for this can be found at the bottom of the post.

Admins for each division will check that fixtures are arranged and chase managers via PM and/or newsfeed where necessary.

Fictional Extra Time

In the knockout stage, if the scores are level at full-time (and over two legs, if the scores are level taking into account away goals advantage), Fictional Extra Time comes into play:

• One goal scored for the team with most possession.
• One goal scored for the team with the most shots on target.
• One goal scored for the team who scored first in normal time.

Paris Saint-Germain emerged victorious following a 2-2 draw in the second leg in Brussels last night. Anderlecht's inability to score away in Paris in the first leg ended up costing them dearly.

PSG will now play the winners of the D2 tournament to decide the overall World Club Cup winner.

Hertha Berlin needed Fictional Extra Time to see off Leverkusen after their 2-0 home first leg was overturned buy their German rivals.

Hertha will host D1 tournament winners Paris Saint-Germain next week in the first leg of the World Club Cup Final.

Gladbach held on 1-1 at home against Udinese to win the D3 final, their 2-1 victory in Italy in the first leg enough to separate the two sides.

The plan was for the winners of D3 and D4 to playoff for the World Club Shield, but I think now that it will have to be D3 vs. D5, while Partizan and Dynamo can arrange their D4 final games for the next two weeks instead.

Zagreb's 5-1 capitulation at home to Augsburg in the fist leg meant that the second leg in Germany was always going to be somewhat of a formality.

And so it proved with the German team emerging 7-3 victors on aggregate, and securing an unlikely place in the World Club Shield Final against Borussia Monchengladbach in the process.

The semi-final 2nd legs last night produced some cracking games and scores, and decided who will face off in the two legged finals for each division (scheduled for the next two weeks, 6 and 13 May).

Benfica's failure to score an away goal in the first leg 2-0 defeat cost them dear, as PSG held on in Lisbon to secure a 2-1 aggregate win.

In a thrilling game in Monaco, the hosts failed to capitalise on their 1-1 1st leg result in Berlin, as Hertha won the return leg 2- to reach the final.

There they will face German rivals Leverkusen, who hung on to their 1-0 1st leg lead over Napoli with a 1-1 home draw.

Udinese had a relatively simple passage through to the final with a 2-1 win at Koln to go through 4-1 on aggregate.

Gladbach also reached the D3 final, a 1-1 home draw with Lazio enough to see them through after winning 3-1 in Rome in the first leg.

Boca's 1st leg win in Belgrade was for nought as they failed to turn up for the second leg, forfeiting the match 3-0 to send Partizan to the final, 3-1 on aggregate.

Dynamo secured their place in the final with a 1-1 draw in Kazan, to beat their Russian rivals Rubin 3-2 over the two legs.

40 teams have entered this seasons World Club Cup.

Like last season, we will have a Regional Group Stage and Playoffs, followed by the World Club Cup and Shield Knockout Stages.

This season, for the first time, we will have teams playing in groups with similar rated teams, like in the Youth Cup, to make it a bit more fun and competitive for most of the teams.

The finals of the Regional competitions are underway, with the second legs due to be completed next week.

The Knockout Stage of the World Club Cup and Shield proper will begin the following week, Wednesday 26 June.

Note that the Rounds of 16 and 8 are one leg only.

Lazio failed to organise their re-arranged final fixture, so default 0-3, handing Roma top spot in the group and a home semi-final against Fiorentina.

Roma will play their final group fixture at Lazio on Saturday, where a win will see them win Group A and take their place in the semi-final in Match 1 against Fiorentina.

As best group runners-up, Milan would then face a visit to Napoli in Match 2.

If Roma fail to win, Milan and Roma's positions are reversed, i.e., Milan win the group and play Fiorentina, and Roma go to Napoli.

Into the final week of matches for the regional Group Stage of this season's World Club Cup, who has qualified for the Regional (Semi-)Finals, who needs what tomorrow night, and who is already out?

Group A

River Plate need a point at home to Argentine rivals Independiente to guarantee a place in the Semi-Final of the Regional competition.

If they lose, a win at Cruzeiro could still send Benfica through.

Malaga are rock bottom and out.

Group winners Real Madrid hope to continue their 100% record at home to Valencia, and they will travel to the winners of Group A in the Regional Semi-Final.

Villarreal and Levante cannot now qualify for the Regional Finals.

Espanyol are group winners, finishing above their city rivals Barcelona, and will host the winners of Group D in the Regional Semi.

Atletico Madrid will win Group D if they can win at Malaga in the final game, or if second placed Independiente fail to win at River Plate.

Thirty-nine managers entered their clubs into this season's World Club Cup revival competition, after a couple season's without a tournament.

For those of you who don't know, the World Club Cup is a unique to Top 100 friendly schedule based competition, open to all teams, with no restrictions on who can play (unlike the Youth Cup).

This season's competition will be in two parts:

1. Regional Group Stage and Finals
   • Five regions, with a total of 13 groups with 3 teams in each group:
     1. Iberia and South America
     2. Italia
     3. Germany
     4. England
     5. Rest of the World
2. Knockout Stage and Finals
   • World Club Cup for Regional Finalists and best Group runners-up
   • World Club Shield for the best of the rest

Due to the odd number of teams, groups and regions, there will be an odd fixture schedule for the Regional Group Stage, similar to NFL scheduling (i.e., teams also play against teams not in their group).

In summary, all teams in the same region will play the same number of games (either four, or five), before proceeding to regional finals, some of which (but not all) will be over two legs.

The Regional Stage, therefore, will see the finalists play a maximum of eight Wednesday night matches, starting 1 May, and ending 19 June.

The best sixteen teams will then play for the World Club Cup, while the next best sixteen will compete for the World Club Shield.

The Knockout Stage will comprise one-legged rounds of 16 and 8, prior to two-legged semi-finals and finals, a maximum of six Wednesday night games for the finalists, starting 3 July, and ending 7 August.
