besiktas review 

hi guys not done a post in a while due to a personal family problem which has taken some of my time up but things are slowly sorting themselves out and hopefully ill get more time on top 100. anyway thats enough about boring me.





what a season it has been so far at besiktas for the fans and there manager prince of persia gave us a insight to the season so far

"its been a up and down roller coaster for us this season so far and arguably the shock defeat to Monaco has been the hardest result to take this season inwhat should of been 3 points given the sides difference this season.. my realistic target set for this season was to improve on last season finish of 11th under the previous regime.with so many transfers it could have gone so wrong for me as the coach this season but the lads have been brilliant and worked hard for the fans.

my aim is now to secure a play off place and of course finish above the rivals across the road.with the way we have played this season i feel anything other than a play off place will be classed as a failure and potentially at risk of being sacked by the board.

we have had a pretty settled side this season so far but injuries and suspensions are now taking its toll on the side and with a real possibility this could cost us a place in the play offs i've now started scouting in the hope of getting a striker in on a short term basis".

the price of persia even had a opinion on his rivals at galatasary.

"i guess the going got tough there and being below us was not easy and kun al lost is battle to keep is job.now with walter at the helm i guess it creates a rivaly again but from our point of view at besiktas i guess we have nothing to worry about as there not really important and we have more competition in training than anything galatasaray could throw at us.

            division 3 opinions from beskitas 



Hi guys as game 9 approaches of what could be a very tough and tight division  3 league.I thought I’d give my opinions and my views as besiktas manager and my targets this season along with a few comments about some of my opposite numbers in division 3.



As I embark on my first full season with besiktas. The aim I have set my players and staff  is to achieve a top 7 finish with the strength in depth this should be a fair target for my very experienced players but I no It won’t be easy with some top managers within division 3.

and on that note regarding my fellow rivals in division 3 i thought id give a little insight  into how myself and the besiktas board view a few managers.




Frank at Genoa: what a top manager he is and should be in contention for promotion (obviously i cannot confirm or deny that i have received a cash incentive bribe from frank or any of is associates) i cant wait for my holiday to italy.


rahul w at Aston villa. seems to be doing a wonderful job at Aston villa and certainly will be a rival for me this season


kun al at galatasary:for obvious reasons here at besiktas we cant stand this man.he seems to have some bromance with broon at fenerbache which makes it worse.i guess that’s why 2 arrogant managers make a great couple.

golden bear at Monaco: Arguably  the most underachieving manager in division 3. the guy has poor man management skills and should be ashamed of is current position. maybe hes to busy drinking beer on the boats in the harbor than looking after is team.




division 3 will be the closest league this season and im sure in 10 games time the table will look a lot more different with no doubt that the likes of Genoa will lose a match soon enough as hes the only unbeaten one  and im sure most of us will drop points to other teams. who ever gets promoted this season will be in great shape to challenge in division 2 and for those unlucky to be relegated it will no doubt be more challenging to get back into division 3


i guess its that time were i must go as the players have a training session ahead of tonight’s game against crystal palace.

with the league season 5 games in its been a pretty frustrating time for besiktas fans with 1 win 3 draws and 1 loss. this evening we spoke to the besiktas manager as they prepared for there cup game tomorrow against celtic.

P.well thank you for having me tonight.the reason we are struggling is my fault and thats because i cant quite decide what is my best formation or best 11 for that matter. i think the quicker i sort this out i feel we will start to get the wins we need.


Q.DO YOU FEEL ANY CLOSER TO FINDING OUT YOUR BEST 11?

P.yeah i dont feel far away from it.im sure there will be some upset players but thats why im manager. i have to make big decisions.


Q.WHY DID YOU BUY SO MANY NEW PLAYERS ESPECIALLY ATTACKING OPTIONS?

P.i always felt i wanted to change half the team and make it my own.its hard to know whats around the corner so i made a decision on certain players at that time as i wanted some depth to deal with injurys etc.


Q.ARE THERE ANY MORE PLANS TO SIGN ANY MORE PLAYERS?

P.not really i have plans to offload 2 players an i do have luis hernandez coming in soon but unless something jumps out at me then this team will be given the chance to press on this season in the hope of securing a possible play off place.

Q.WHAT IS YOUR MESSAGE TO THE BESIKTAS FANS?

P. my message to them will be to get behind the team an support them even if times get hard and i'm sure we will have success in the future.we as a club will continue to work hard for the club and fans

with so many new signings only time will tell if the besiktas manager did the right thing or even if the board should of given him the financial backing after is failure at rivals galatasaray. i'm sure the besiktas fans are in for a bumpy ride this season
