Mönchengladbach 1-2 Sassuolo: With time running out, the team losing ideas, Baschirotto the captain tried an outrageous chip from outside the box with 5 minutes to play that flew over the helpless keeper and sent the away fans wild! Sassuolo out of the relegation zone and more importantly, proving the team can fight.

Very dissapointing but well done Hugos. Expecting the 3 points but messed up the tactics. Didn’t seem to be in it first half but went in 1-1 at half time. Stats were slightly even but shots on target 5/3 to them. A late 85th minute winner is always a tough one. Only 5 points from top and 1 point to play offs so early days.

Honours even as Palace leave The Stadium of Light with a hard fought point against 2nd placed Sunderland. The Eagles once again relying on Sorloth to come up with the goods in front of goal and another vintage performance from Handanovic between the sticks. All in all a very good point for Bilboa's men.

We dominated all the stats. Inter score 3 goals with only 3 shots on target - defensive cover cannot arrive soon enough. Well done Gyan.

We got it spot on tonight tactically, and i'm very pleased to keep a clean sheet and beat a very tough opponent. Our mix of experience and youth is working right now. We made some changes bringing Sangare and Iheanacho in, whilst rotating our centre backs. It's been a real solid start to the season and we are improving with each game.

A respectable 1-0 loss to Stoke City. We just edged the stats but The Potters struck early and defended their lead well.

Marcos LLORENTE loss will hurt us, but, my god, the relief, the sweat pouring down my cheeks, the clenched then unclenched buttocks, the PUNCHING THE AIR only to be reigned in and then PUNCHING THE AIR again, and again. This one meant a lot. Stupid I know. I'm farting 'Chariots of Fire' now!

Just noticed ticked onto 440 games 2 more than longest serving manager Michael Bowes on 438. Coming up from second Division, rebuilding team 3 times now, some great achievements along the way, it has been great, I enjoy the challenge , the transfers , the trophies and the fellow managers. I make lot of mistakes but still love the buzz every game night.

Another point on the board! Not happy with it as Leicester was down to 10 men in the 27th min ! Ben Yedder could easily of scored a hat trick with the amount of chances he missed on his debut.

I have decided it’s time for another break . Struggling to find the time to fully engage with the gameworld at the moment so think it’s time for a fresh manager at the helm at Valencia . Dortmund 0-0 FC Porto. Decent point against a very strong team. We are used to dominate the matches but not tonight. It was balanced but Dortmund was slightly stronger. I already said they are one of my favorites to win Division 1 this season. They're facing a tough moment atm but they'll bounce back i'm sure. That team has upgraded a lot recently, they're really really strong now. . . Good game Dario. Good luck.

Over thirty three thousand saw Hoffenheim progress into the next round. Evanilson joined Valencia keeper in watching the ball nestle into the back of the net in the 23rd minute. Valencia huffed and puffed but Hoffenheim doubled their lead in the 73rd minute with a wonderful strike into the top corner. Hoffenheim finished the game with 10 men but the score remained 2 - 0.

10 changes to the team and Roque got the winner. A pleasing result.

Adam (Barcelona)

Beaten 2-1 at home to Lyon in the first round, thanks to a late winner from Pierotti. We have a long way to go both in this season and where we want to take this team in the future.

Hugos Monkides (Sassuolo)

Full focus on the league this season. Out of the cup tonight, 10 changes, wasn’t expecting much. Let’s see how we get on before some changes to the first team happen in November.
