Division 3 Season 28 Stats and Facts Review

Super Sampdoria win the league and head the stats.
There are many wild swings and roundabouts in the wildest league in the tournament. Still remains a fact that a solid 91 rated striker is libel to get you close to the top if you play your cards right. A +6 VA with +7PVA puts Sampdoria just ahead of their real life rivals Ajax on +7 VA in 2nd spot. One could argue that eternal over performers Dnipro in 6th with +14VA were the star performers but they have to get promoted to prove that. Malaga also predicted for relegation on +8 VA. Southampton on +7VA , Tottenham +6 and Lille +5 are worthy of a mention. In fact none of the predicted relegated sides were relegated a first time as far as I can remember.
The fall from grace though is a large one. Liege by rights should have auto promoted by some how managed to get relegated , Moenchengladbach who should be in the play off join them in D4 next season with -16/-15 VA respectively . Zagreb and St Ettienne were notable underperformers,
The A.I. did a lot worse than I did. For some reason it wanted to relegate Boca which with a 95 rated attacker was literally never going to happen or how St Etienne’s lack of depth could hamper them.
