The season is ending and we’re at the final stage of the WCC-WCS tournament. Started with 100 teams, now we have 2 teams in each tournament fighting for the final glory. They are just one step away from being crowned The Champions. As we can’t arrange a neutral venue for the final in SM, we have decided to have a 2-legged final in both WCC and WCS. 1st leg will be 22nd May and 2nd leg will be on 29th May – a week before the current season is done.
WCC

ROAD TO THE GLORY : BARCELONA
- A title contender in Division 1 is the only top flight team to make it to the final.
- Skipped first 3 round and played directly Qualifier 4 against Girondins Bordeaux and won 0-2 comfortably away from home and qualified to WCC.
- Hammered their local rivals Valencia in R32 in both home and away and made a statement through 8-0 score line.
- Had a little bit tough against another Spanish team Atletico Madrid in R16 but won 3-1 on aggregate.
- Real test began in QFs when they had to face FC Porto and expected to be close contest between two mighty forces but it was a walk in the park for Adam’s boys and won 5-2 on aggregate.
- Having faced big names in previous rounds, we got to admit Barca had it easy in Semis against Inter and won 3-1 on aggregate.
ROAD TO THE GLORY: RSC ANDERLECT

- A struggling Div 2 team in WCC Final – at least Neil and his boys will have something to cheer if they really can make it happen.
- Faced off against fellow Div 2 club in PSG in Qualifier 4 and won 0-2 comfortably and qualified to WCC.
- Defeated H.Berlin easily in R32 in both home and away and won 5-1 on aggregate.
- Battled against Sporting CP in R16 and won 5-2 on aggregate.
- It’s Div 2 club again in QFs when they faced SC Internacional and gone through with narrow wins in both legs. 2-0 on aggregate.
- It was in Semis, the Belgian club felt the heat when they were matched up against Chelsea but the London club failed to replicate their league form and surrendered to RSCA. 4-0 on aggregate.
Barcelona lost the league to Chelsea and were knocked out of YC last night and Adam will not want to end the season trophyless after starting the season on high note meanwhile Anderlect will have no chance against their mighty opponents but you never know in football and maybe fairytale awaits for the Belgian Club.
WCS

ROAD TO THE GLORY: LIVERPOOL
- The underdogs in this final – Chris will be more motivated and aimed to have the perfect final 180 mins.
- Defeated by Hellas Verona in Qualifier 4 – this pushed them down to compete in WCS. A blessing in disguise.
- Battered Div 1 relegation battlers in R32 and won 6-2 on aggregate.
- Had it very easy against a Div 5 club Girodins Bordeaux in R16 and made a statement win through 8-1 scoreline.
- Another weak team SS Lazio in QFs but the same old story. Easy win – 8-3 on aggregate.
- Having had easy run so far, The Scousers had a tough meeting in Semis against Bayern and went through with narrow scorline. 4-3 on aggregate.

ROAD TO THE GLORY: LEVANTE UD
- Tournament favourites, Levante fighting for 3 trophies and we can see why they will and they can win it all.
- Defeated by inactive-most-of-time Gursi’s FC Koln in Qualifier 4 – this pushed them down to compete in WCS.
- Had a tough outing against Santos FC in R32 and qualified to next round with 3-2 on aggregate.
- Having learnt the lesson, Levante stormed passed Galatasaray SK in R16 and won 7-1 on aggregate.
- Defeated FC Schalke in QFs comfortably through 3-1 scoreline.
- Had a difficult test against God’s Sampdoria in Semis and a decent home game etched their name into the finals.
Liverpool had it easy on initial rounds of the tournaments but had to break a sweat in Semis when they faced the real opponent. Levante on the other hand are high flying after making YC finals last night and fighting for 3 trophies at the moment. Definitely high adrenaline rush will help them in their quest to treble.
We thank all the participating managers for their kind co-operation and their support in making this tournament successful. Thank you and good luck.
