Congratulations to Milan and manager Andrew, who beat a very unlucky Benfica in the closest final we’ve ever seen in Top 100 history.

Both legs finished 2-1 to the home side, meaning the scores were still level after taking into account away goals, so the match was decided in controversial fashion with the long-standing, much maligned and much misunderstood and exclusive to Top 100 rule Fictional Extra Time.

There were some good teams in the Shield this season, so it was very competitive throughout.
