Bayer Leverkusen Manager Noisy was delighted with the teams opening performance in Division 1 this weekend.
After being tipped in the pre-season predictions for relegation in last spot Noisy has fired up the team to go out and prove the doubters wrong.
Leverkusen had a brilliant pre-season and the lads are in good physical shape for the battle ahead, Noisy has set the target of a Top 10 Finish whilst many will laugh it off, Noisy is confident in the players he has to pull it off.
Recent rises in prospects such as Brandt to 87, Wendell to 89 and Boufal and Mendy to 88 has boosted the side with all involved in the matchday squads.
The biggest change for us personally though was Calhanoglu’s Position Change meaning he can now play in the centre of midfield a position we have been weak at.
Calhanoglu was indeed deployed in CM this weekend and it paid off as he scored the winning goal in the Vicente Calderon to beat Doctor’s Atletico 1-0.
He would have got MOTM if it wasn’t for Lenos heroics in goal to keep a clean sheet.
The club has knocked various bids back in the last few weeks for its key players as we believe its vital to keep the backbone in place.
