Ban almost over.

Its been a long three months at Hertha but finally the ban is due to come to end! Noah Okafor has moved on and we can once again look to strengthen the team.

Deals are already in place and will see Vardy and Bellingham leave for Anderlecht with Lewis Cook and Nord Mukiele arriving in their place. On paper and looking at the stats, the deal isn’t the best for Hertha, Vardy moved up to 92 and become an out and out striker after the deal was confirmed, a position I was keen to fill. But thems the breaks. I fear we could regret the decision to let Jamie go, 7 goals in 11 games this season as sent us into the play offs, but two very good young players come in and we hope they can prosper here in Berlin.

Hoping to fill the void left by Vardy will be Duvan Zapata. He hasn’t started well this season at Shakthar, perhaps with one eye on his move, but he will have to adjust very fast and hit the ground running to help keep Hertha’s play off hopes alive.
